چکیده

This study deals with the life cycle assessment (LCA) and an exergo-environmental analysis (EEvA) of geothermal Power Plant Hellisheiði (Iceland), a combined heat power double flash plant, installed 303.3 MW for electricity 133 hot water. LCA approach is used to evaluate analyse environmental performance at plant global level. A more in-depth developed, components level, through EEvA. The employs existing published data realignment inventory latest resource compares impacts three methods (ILCD 2011 Midpoint, ReCiPe 2016 Midpoint-Endpoint, CML-IA Baseline) two different scenarios. In scenario 1, any emission abatement system considered. 2, re-injection CO2 H2S accounted for. identifies some major spots impacts, like acidification, particulate matter formation, ecosystem, human toxicity, mainly caused by specific sources. Finally, allows indicating wells as significant contributors impact rate associated construction, Operation & Maintenance, end stages HP condenser component highest cost rate.

Environmental-economic evaluation of sugar cane bagasse gasification power plants versus combined-cycle gas power plants

Approximately 2.4 million tons of bagasse are produced each year in Iran, most of which are currently treated as waste adding to serious environmental concerns. Application of bagasse for energy production is a sustainable solution to supply the required energy within the sugar refineries and export the surplus electricity to the grid. Currently, the energy demand in Iranian sugar mills is main...

Optimization and Exergy, Economic and Environmental Analysis of a Combine Cycle Power Plant

In this study, a combined cycle power plant with a nominal capacity of 500 MW, including two gas units and one steam unit, was considered by the mathematical model of thermodynamic modeling and the results of the modeling were controlled by the design information of the system. Then, the objective functions are optimized by considering the decision variables. In this multi-objective optimizatio...
